Cancellation Policy

At Shine & Protect Detailing, we take pride in providing high-quality detailing and ceramic coating services while respecting every client’s time. To ensure fairness and efficiency for all our customers, we’ve established the following cancellation and rescheduling guidelines.

1. Appointment Cancellations

We understand that life happens and plans can change. However, because we reserve time slots exclusively for each customer, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the total service cost.

  • No-shows—when a customer fails to appear for an appointment without prior notice—may be charged the full amount of the booked service.

  • Repeated cancellations or missed appointments may result in restricted future booking privileges.

2. Rescheduling Appointments

You are welcome to reschedule your appointment free of charge if you contact us more than 24 hours in advance.
If you need to reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, we’ll do our best to accommodate your request, but a short-notice rescheduling fee may apply depending on availability and service type.

3. Weather and Safety Conditions

For our mobile detailing services, weather and working conditions play a crucial role. In the event of heavy rain, extreme heat, or unsafe conditions, Shine & Protect Detailing reserves the right to reschedule your service for a later date.
We will always notify you as early as possible and work with you to find a convenient alternative time.

4. Accessibility and Vehicle Readiness

To ensure efficient service, please make sure your vehicle is easily accessible at the scheduled time.
If our team arrives and cannot access the vehicle due to locked gates, parking issues, or absence of the vehicle, the appointment may be treated as a no-show, and service fees may apply.

5. Deposits and Refunds

Some detailing or ceramic coating services may require a deposit to secure your booking. Deposits are non-refundable but can be applied toward a future appointment if cancellation terms are met.
Refunds for prepaid services are only available when cancellations are made within the allowed notice period.

6. Commitment to Fairness

Our policies are designed to maintain fairness for both our customers and our technicians. Each appointment represents a reserved time and preparation effort—timely cancellations help us serve other clients efficiently.
